Hello September!

It's FINALLY here! The best time of the year. The kickoff to all things boots, jackets, pumpkin spice, football, and fall. The birth month of my absolute favorite season of the year. It's FINALLY SEPTEMBER! While everyone is sad to start saying goodbye to summer, I'm running towards fall, full speed, with arms open wide.

With Labor Day weekend festivities kicking off today, those of you who aren't as excited to go your separate ways from summer have a chance to enjoy the last licks of summertime activities and with warm weather and last minute lazy beach days, outdoor movies, and rooftop barbecues still in full swing, your summer wardrobe isn't quite yet done.  I've learned there are very few ensembles I can't work from season to season. Luckily for us, we can squeeze in a few more weeks of summer's beloved cold shoulder trend. You guys should know by now that ripped jeans are a year round staple for me and I had so much FUN pairing this #DontCare pair from Target. It's been a lot of fun watching my favorite fashionistas slay the cold shoulder trend all spring and summer and it makes me happy to know that it also doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon. If anything, shoulder play seems to be getting stronger, with off the shoulder tops still going strong, and other styles, like one shoulder tops, becoming more and more popular.

I love basics and have spent this year creating a capsule wardrobe made of great basics that I can mix and match all year long.  While simplicity is always my first priority when picking out an ensemble, I’m a also huge fan of statement heels that are versatile, make a basic outfit pop for all the right reasons and that I can get a lot of wear out of. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fun the pom pom's add to these and although they are a little busy, I can't get enough of paring them with quick and easy denim ensembles to spice up the casual factor.

The cold shoulder trend is one I’m loving and have incorporated tops that I can't wait to share with you more as we transition into fall over the next month. The top, jeans and sunnies are from Target (because, duh, I can't stay out of there) and my over-sized clutch is from Forever21. I'm so happy to be working with my favorite female photographer in Atlanta again and we can't wait to bring you tons of fall fashion fun as the season settles in! May your September be filled with positive vibes, elevated faith and moments full of H A P P I N E S S!

XO,

Jessica!
